1 package kielbasa sausage 1 t. minced garlic 1 T. olive oil 1 c. heavy cream 1 1/2 c. water 1 package tortellini of choice (frozen, refrigerated or dried all work well) 1 c. chicken broth (or bouillon) 1 t. garlic powder Italian seasoning to taste Salt to taste Pepper to taste
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add in the minced garlic until fragrant and golden. Add in the sliced pieces of sausage. Cook until browned – about 5 minutes. Add in the remaining ingredients and cook over a low simmer for another 20-30 minutes, until mixture is a sauce consistency and the tortellini are cooked. You may need to add additional water if needed based on the kind of tortellini you use. Enjoy!
